Dear Alumni,

The ΣΑΚΑ USA chapter invites you to an exclusive online discussion via Zoom:

Evolution of MBA in the era of COVID-19 June 24, 2021 at 5pm EST

ΣΑΚΑ Alumni and Dean of the Columbia Business School Dr. Costis Maglaras and NYU Stern Business School Professor Dr. Nikos Economides will join us in a discussion of how the Master of Business Administration has significantly evolved over the last decade.

The MBA is still considered a “must have” for certain companies whereas for others is a “nice to have”. While COVID-19 has slowed down the global economy and marketplace, it has provided the opportunity for many people to pursue their academic goals. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 global pandemic, MBA applications have significantly risen making 2020-2021 the most competitive year on record. Why has the COVID-19 era made the selection process significantly more competitive than ever before? What are the advantages of pursuing an MBA during and post COVID?

All Athens College communities from across the world will be invited to attend. The discussion will be moderated by Alexandros Papadopoulos (’09).

The discussion will be conducted via Zoom and will include a Q&A session.
